Thornycroft J type lorry, as used by the ASC and RFC etc during WW1, with a 13 pounder 9cwt anti-aircraft gun mounted a mk III mount on the rear

This is my Great Grandfather, Pte George Coxon of the RASC. Could this be a Thornycroft J Type? Not much to go on I know!

This is a very old post, but for what it's worth Pte. Coxon's lorry is an AEC 'Y' Type and from the barely discernable shell symbol on the cab side he was carrying ammunition in it.

Lest we forget.
