Recently bought a model of the Jeffery Quad Ammo Carrier; anyone have any clear picture showing the markings? I know it was in use with different nations and I'll go for any nationality, as long as the markings are clear...

thanks,
Michel.

Last year, there was an anniversary celebration of the U.S. Armys' Cross-Country Motor Transport Train of 1919 (explained here).  There were quite a few vehicles, but very few from WWI.  I have a few pictures of a Nash Quad that is fully restored, however it doesn't have ANY markings other than the factory markings.  I also have a short video clip of it being started and running.  If you are interested in these photos (they are large), let me know.  I would be happy to send them to you.  Or anyone interested in them.  I don't know how to post pictures here, but I am going to try one.  And I'm not a great photographer, so don't poke too much fun.

Nothing wrong with your image - I'd like to expand the short article on the Jeffery on landships.info with your images. I'll PM my e-mail address.

Regards,

Charlie

Sure, I'll be glad to help.  I'd like photo credits, if any are published.  Otherwise, they are free to use.

I've loaded fomocomav's Nash Quad images onto Landships II - look for the softskin article on the Jeffrey Quad (Nash bought out Jeffrey in 1916).

Regards,

Charlie

Here are two war-time pics of the Nash Quad.  The first photo is the only one I've seen with the tilt attached.   You will note the sparsity of markings on either vehicle.

Great pictures there. I wouldnt like to have been driving a Quad when it had a head on colision.

Although the Quad was used by several nations i believe that only the US Army used the ammunition carrier body.
