Hello Gary, I am french and my great grand uncle remains are probably buried somewhere on the Skra di legen battlefield. My girlfriend posted his story there :

Unlike other people who posted angry messages about your hobby, I think it is great that some people still care about this battle and report human remains when found.

I am very fond of history and I know that if people like you don't collect these battle relics, no one will and they would just rot away. National Museums here in France are filled with items in good condition because some people preserved them in private collections for years before it arrived to the Museums. Private collectors help the memories of these men stay alive.
