Track adjuster fix

The Mk I tank I am building has square tensioner ends and not rounded. I took 1/8 inch Evergreen tubing, drilled the hole to match the tensioner width and sliced it off. I cut the piece in half and placed it on the tensioner after removing the end by scraping it off with a knife. It is not perfect but it is better then it was. I still need to sand it down some but I will do that after it dries.

Hi

Looks good! and nice to see a part of the old Airfix Kit that really annoys me corrected.

If you need a bit more info then I have shown my plans on this thread... http://landships.activeboard.com/t42863542/mk1-plans-nearly-finished/

Not yet ready to print the final version, but you should be able to get some good info from the pics I have shown on the thread.

Helen x

Hi Helen. Thanks for the post. I searched the site earlier and I found your post on the Mk I drawings and they were really helpful. I used them to correct the ribs on the hull roof. I will continue to refer to them as I do the corrections and improvements.
