Thanks for the trailer.

It's great that the tank museum has some forward thinking people running it.They must be strapped for cash but this is a good long term investment. Its a pity that the mkV is no longer used but this is a great substute.

Just need the 1/72 model industry (except Emhar) to realise that there were tanks in WW1. The next few years are a golden oppunity for such manufactures to branch away from the same old WW2 products from a certain country!

I wonder if this is a steel made replica or one made similar to the one in New Zealand out of other materials ie mdf and such.

A superb looking replica!

I see David Fletcher was awarded the MBE in the New Years Honours  for his services to the history of armoured warfare, so congratulations to him.

Thanks for that - I live in the UK and I still couldn't get the news programme video to work! But seeing it on youtube, all I can say is 'Wow'! The company that built it did a superb job.

Nice replica! biggrin

It seems they repeated the errors on "Excellent", being the long exhaust, the missing rear plates and the big hatch lid on the front tower.

Anyway, good to see one driving around. Yet another reason to make the long journey to Bovington some day.

Greetings!

OMG !!! ... That replica tank has got to be awesome, I saw it in the film which was a great part of the film that made it for me. I'm going to Bovington soon and really looking forward to getting up close and personal with it.

Jim
