Hello gents

Found this pic in the www. Seems to have a uncommon camo... or is it a fake?

Cheers, Peter

This is one of the first three Junowitz armoured cars, built in 1915-1916 on Fiat chassis. I think it has marking "PA 2" on the front plate.

I doubt there is camo paint. I think it is just dust, which I've seen in other Junowitz photos too.

Two more were built in 1917, on Büssing and Saurer chassis. At least one had bit more rounded armour on the sides.

Very nice photo, haven't seen before.

It seems to me that the camo edge is too straight-lined for dust. On the other side, I can hardly imagine that they painted an a/c in this scheme.  confuse

At least we can make out the roof hatch quite well! Now we just should  find a good rear view ...

Cheers, Peter

Hmmm ... just can tell from my collection: mine is without camo!

Pity that the background is cut away; hard to make out if it's a shadow effect. Otherwise it's indeed an intriguing camo scheme...

Michel.
