Another New Book Coming

Hello

Maybe this was discussed here earlier.

JH Haynes & Co Ltd will publish a new book in the "Owner's Workshop Manual" series:

"GREAT WAR TANKS

1915 - 1945 (all models)

Owner's Workshop Manual"

Author: David Fletcher

Publishing Date: March 07th, 2013

160 pages

210 x 270mm

For me the note "1915 -1945 (all models)" seems a little bit strange.

Regards

Thomas

Thanks Thomas, I don't see it discussed elsewhere either, offhand. Tags added.
Yes, it seems the Great War just got extended :)
The publisher's blurb saysThe worlds first ever battle tank receives the Haynes Manual treatment and its centrepiece is the most prolific British tank of the Great War the Tank Mk IV. World authority David Fletcher looks at the anatomy, construction and operation of the Mk IV (including rare contemporary eyewitness descriptions), as well as giving fascinating insights into the maintenance and restoration of these historic armoured fighting vehicles. Individual preserved Great War tanks that feature in the manual include Flirt II, the Ashford Tank, Lodestar III, Excellent and Deborah.

Not necessarily; allegedly some Great War tanks were used in WW2.

Be interesting to know if it's any good - along with the Lancaster and Spitfire etc versions I consider them a bit 'twee' and for a more general audience ie Christmas/fathers day presents. I'll stick with the original manuals reproduced elsewhere
