Little Willie Scale 1/10 RC

Wikipedia reports Willie as weighing 16.5 tonnes...thats 16,500 kilos!
That seems a bit exaggerated to me. I can't imagine it weighing that much, especially since its just boilerplate outer skin.
But I guess those sponson plates must weigh a good amount.

I figured it had to weigh at least 2000 kilos...and at 1/10 scale...thats still 200kg! lol

I know, I know, thats not how scale weight works in this case...
but many scale models are a lot heavier (scalewise) than their real counterparts.
And because you are building it from metal, I assumed it would end up weighing a lot more than 10-15kg.

...you could be right, but I think it will not as heavy as a Tiger Tank in 1/10 . All components are made from 2mm aluminium, exept the tracks. Engine and gearbox will not be very heavy, also the accu, and some electronics. But I dont care ... smile

If Little Willie will get heavier than 25kg I will call him "Little Wilhelm"
