MkI, II, III and IV were the same width: 20.5 inches.

I don't know for certain, but I think the MkV used both, and the MkV*, I think, used only the wider track; 26.5 inches (?)

Both Mark V and V* are seen with both types of track. As a general rule Mark IVs weren't fitted with wide tracks although I do know of one instance when wide tracks were fitted to one or two Mark IVs for tests at Central Workshops (every rule needs an exception).

Thanks, Gwyn.

I was re-reading the old Profile publication on the Medium tanks, and it says the Medium A used tracks with 20.5 in wide plates as well. Is that correct?

Yes, I believe that to be correct.
