Looking for scale drawings of a Mark V*
Permalink

Good day to you all!

I am thinking about making a Mark V*. Base for this model will be a Takom Mark V.

Now i am looking for more info and above all a scale drawing. I have only found the attached file. The sides of the tank can be done by looking at photos from the Mark V* but i am not sure how the top of the tank looked like. I read about a different layout and integrated machineguns for attacking "low-flying-planes".....

I have seen a small model here: http://www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=4904  Is that model accurate and can i use it as an example for my build?

I hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Willem

Still looking for details of the rear deck and the "commanders cuppola" at the rear.

I found this drawing/painting on the website of IWM.

http://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/80

I see an extra hatch on top and some sort of hatch on the side of the "cuppola" front. Can it swing sidewards and forwards...... ?

Questions, questions ........

Best regards,

Willem

Hello Paul,
thanks for the link but those are known pictures to me and do not give the answer to the big question:
How does the rear deck and the "commanders cuppola" at the rear look like?
Still looking for those details.
Thanks,
best regards,
willem
