MkIV female towing gun ( in progress)

A few weeks ago  there was a topic  on the "Tanks " forum about a MkIV Female pulling a piece of artillery

This was the start for me for planning a diorama depicting such a scene

There was a discussion about how the gun was towed , I went for "the cable over the top of the tank" option......

The gun of the pictures was not available in 1/35 scale ,so i used the Krupp 21 CM gun

Here is the result so far.....

There are still some things to adress...

- Some touch ups here and there
- The figures needs some paint
- Everything is still loose and has to be fixed in position and the the groundwork has to be finished.
- The Mk IV needs some decals....

Please feel free to comment....

Hello Ronald!

Best wishes for 2017,

great work and we would love to see more (close-up pictures) when you get further along with this diorama.

Are you planning more trees? Will there also be more soldiers walking around or maybe even on top of the tank?

When you see the pictures together it gives already the feeling of the original photo.

Keep us updated!

I would like to have some more figures ,but there aren't that many WW1 British figures around, suitable for this scène

So if there are any suggestions

About the trees,
I stil had a set of resin tree trunks laying around , so I tried them here.....
To see how it turned out ...
Maybe I 'll replace them with trees like on the photograph....

Thanx
Ronald
