Battlefield 1 - Video Game

I got Battlefield 1 for Christmas and while I enjoy the game there's a couple of details that make me chuckle. It would appear that the British are very well equipped with Krupp 21cm Morser 16s (I mean really, really well equipped). In addition, they seem to have discovered how to fire these weapons without the use of propelling charges. They just load the shell into the breech, slide the breech block closed, pull the lanyard and presto, the shell is instantly propelled to its destination.

I'm sure the British did come into possession of examples of the 21cm Morser, and if in good condition with adequate ammunition would have sure pressed them into service but I doubt entire batteries would have been equipped with them (but I could be wrong). On top of that I'm fairly certain the weapon used a brass casing containing the propellant.

I guess the game developers just found it easier to only model one type of heavy gun (understandable) and didn't think through the firing procedure.
