Takom's 1/35 scale Medium Mark A Whippet, completed as tank A321 serving near Achiet-le-Petit, France, in August 1918. Finished in Vallejo & Tamiya acrylics; MIG enamels; Abteilung 502 oils; and MIG, Secret Weapon Miniatures, and Vallejo pigments. This was my first entry into armor modeling and there are some things I don't like about the finished product and some things that I think turned out great, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. I've always been fascinated by the First World War and I think this will serve as a nice springboard into more models in this subject.

Comments and criticism is welcomed as always!

Hello Thomas,
you wrote: there are some things I don't like about the finished product .........
Tell me what that is because I like this model. Are you to hard for yourself? It looks great.

Best regards,
Willem

You just made a great model, with a very realistic weathering.

Best regards.

Philippe.

Thanks!

Well, yeah... I tend to be a rather harsh critic on myself, but I feel that it helps me do better on the next build. On this particular model, I wasn't happy with the mud. It turned out okay, I suppose, but I feel like I should have made it a little "chunkier" and more varied.

Thanks mate. It's not the first model I've ever done, just the first tank. Until recently, I've mainly stuck to science fiction and miniature wargaming models.
