A model shop specialized in WW1 stuff - it still exists
Permalink

There are not that many brick-and-mortar model shops left. When I get a chance to enter one, I feel like in a time machine.

I have discovered one in Essen, Germany that is specialized in WW1 stuff, and mainly 1/72 planes but there are also vehicle and gun kits, and 1/72 figures.

They cover most of the early aviation to, say, the 1950s. All the WW1 planes I have ever read about (no expert) seem to exist in kit form, and they have them.

If they don't exist, the owner produces his own ones under the Classic Plane and Luedemann labels.

So if you're not only into armour but also planes, you might have a look at their website. This is not Hannants, but the shop exists for >20 years now.

I hope forum members don't find this kind of hint offending, otherwise would the moderator please remove this post.

Regards, Pat (who is in no way related to the shop other than being an occasional customer)

I know this shop. It is only a few minutes for me to this shop by car and a few years ago (when I created only planes) I bought some kits there...
