This was posted earlier but what colour would the numbers 2324 be? I have only seen white numbering before. Do you have photos of WW1 tanks with non-white numbering?

Not sure, but the colours look almost grey to me.  This picture can also be found in the book Mark V Tank by Fletcher.

Having just written that colours hold no interest to me I'll throw in a thought. They may be yellow. Old film reproduced yellow as black.

That's it. I'll say no more on the subject. Others can fight it out.
