How to post pics
Permalink

Method 1
1. Your pic must be on the internet somewhere.
2. In the tool bar, click the little icon with a pic of a tree on it and follow the directions in the dialogue box.

Method 2

1. Use the "Attach File(s)" button below.

Method 3

1. Switch to HTML tab and use HTML code to link to your pic. (that's what the pic button in the toolbar does)

Photobucket wrecked my build report, and - admittedly - after ages I wanted to continue with it, only to find that I cannot edit the entries to re-link the images.

http://landships.activeboard.com/t52914722/counting-rivets-mark-iv-116-scale/

In the editor, updating the image URL works - but it does not seem to save the changes. Is the thread locked, due to its age?

Can anybody help me? It would be most appreciated.

Kind regards,

Martin

The thread's not locked; can you post a new reply just to test if it can be added to?

I think there is a time limit on editing. I seem to recall running into that problem as well.

Yes, I can add a new reply - but the editing can't be done.

Who do I need to bribe in order to overwrite the html-content? I would provide the blocks with the updated image links.  biggrin

another option is postimage

https://postimages.org/ it is free for now, and provides several types of link to embed anywhere.

 DSC-4698small.jpg

this was inserted with the 'image'button in the advanced editor

this with 'thumbnail for forums'

this with the 'hotlink for website

all with no space taken on the server.
