K. u. k. General, an Austro-Hungarian WWI campaign
Permalink

Hi,

A bit off-topic, but maybe interesting for some:
K. u. k. General, a.k.a. Kaiserliche und Konigliche General, an Austro-Hungarian WWI campaign for Panzer General (DOS) is ready for free download. In the campaign one can command the Imperial and Royal (K. u. k.) Army and from 1914 through 1918. The latest, v2.1 version includes: 20+1 scenarios, 200+ new or modified unit icons, 30+ new or modified animations, modified tactical map graphics, a pdf manual, and more. During the making I made great use of the Landships, so also a big thanks for the contributors to this site.

I MUST try out this one. I loved the original game when it came out!

Definitely something odd now - when I click the link I get a screen saying the site has moved- I then get rediected to a Hungarian screen - I can see nothing on it that looks anything like the the game (but then my knowledge of Hungarian is on a par with my expertice at brain surgery!)

Oops!

On Monday I got a message (posted on Friday) from the host that the server is down due to "neccessary maintenance", but they promised it would be back on Wednesday. Nevertheless I created a mirror at tripod:
