   I'm looking for information on how the Vickers was mounted in A/car turrets,can anyone shed some light on this for me.

Paul,

There is an interior photo of a Maxim mounted inside the turret of a 1914 Rolls Royce Armoured Car in the booklet "Early Armoured Cars" by E. Bartholomew. Copies are available from various book sellers online.

I'd be very curious to see if the mount remained the same when they standardized on the Vickers.
