Another excellent effort, Eric. Well done! I particularly like the weathering along the lower half of the track frames and the worn areas behind the driving compartment.

Very nice! What scale and manufacturer might it be?

I too think the piece of road is a nice touch. :)

Hello,

Thank you for your kind comments.
This is the Retrokit resin kit in 1/72 and the base comes from Cromwell.
Both the Gun carrier and the base are not finished, I need to fill-in the carrier with various ammunition, box and flimsies, and the road needs some more improvements.

Speaking of Retrokit, I will meet them next week-end at Saumur. There is a kit exhibition, a tank demonstration (scale 1/1) and, as far as I know, the visit of the museum storage smile.gif

All the best

Super job!
Are the tracks for the Gun Carrier the same as for the tanks??

The Gun Carrier used the same tracks, engine and transmission components as the Mk I tank.

Hi Eric,

I'm the newest member of this community, I think, and wanted to express you my resprect. A really nice model.
Have you paintbrushed it?
This guncarrier quiet is one of the most obscurest vehicles of WW1 for me. And in my oppinion one of the best technical advances. All your model yet need is a gun, that is carried.wink

Great work.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for the comments.
I mainly use an airbrush for the large surfaces.
Regarding the gun, this gun carrier will not have one in spite of its name. It is intended to be a supply carrier, so I have to add a lot of boxes and other stuff.
However, I plan to build an other one with a gun. I already have both kits wink.gif

All the very best

smileHi Eric,
saw your excellent diorama at last. May i beg you to let the road as it is.
It is so realistic wet-shining Kopfsteinpflaster that one can think rain has pooring down yet.
Absolut phantastic !smilesmilesmile
