Hello,
I am searching for some photos of medieval-like weapons used during WW1 (like lances), I'd welcome also a little info about i.e. material used or efficiency in battle.

Grenade-throwing crossbows were apparently used by both sides during the war. Here's a French design in use.

I have read, but not seen any pictures, of small grenade-throwing catapults used by both sides on the Eastern front. The book in which I read of it had a small drawing attached. The whole device was about half the height of an average man, but apparently moderately effective.
