Primer for Braille scale Emhar kits?

Hi!

I'm new to this scale...
I have few 1/72 kits im my greeblie box though.
This weekend I managed to get my hands on one Emhar 1/72 kit.
This is Mark IV Female.

Compared to those kits I have in my parts box detail on this kit is very delicate.
I'm really worried about priming this kit.
I usually use Mr. Surfacer 1000 from a rattle can.
This is a fantastic primer, but I'm not 100% sure it will not make much of the detail vanish.

These kits seem to be very hard to find these days. Not too keen to start testing on the actual model.

What do you guys use?
I was thinking of Mr. Surfacer 1200 applied very lightly but not quite sure...

Many thanks in advance,
Mikko

I use Tamiya's white primer. I can't really recommend it though, as it leaves much to be desired. Vallejo's (I think) black primer isn't much better, but both of them still works okay.

Well, I have to admit something here: I rarely prime my kits at all. I give them a thorough wash, and that's all.
