Retrokits are going to make a Hedi.

A Hedi, Retrokits are making.

Making a Hedi, Retrokits are.

That news is so good, I wanted to say it thrice!

Yep. There's a pic on the site: http://www.retrokit.net/

The "turret" should be re-shaped. The real thing wasn't symmetric, had a steep rise in the rear and a smooth rise at the front (4 rivets rear, 8 rivets front). The turret's front edge was above the middle aperture in the side hull.

If only Retrokit decided to venture into 1/35th...

Judging by the detail on their tiny little 1/72nd vehicles, any larger kits they did would be rather good.

I've always wanted to build an Uberlandwagen, without completely rebuilding the Tauro A7V from the sprockets up...!

MZ, I'll certainly look up my references, but if you can elaborate, that would be much appreciated!

As to 1/35, I'm planning my first 1/35 kit for later this year, though it will not be a WWI subject...

Yay, and drat!

Oh well, I suppose you have to hedge your bets a little bit with your first kit - something fairly 'safe'... Hopefully WWI will follow if the first 1/35 project is a commercial success..?

I've tried to sketch the turret. It's still a lot of assumptions but perhaps closer on what the real thing looked like.

Thank you MZ. Very helpful. The master obviously need re-working, which is not too much of a problem since I'd rather have something good in the first place!

The shape of the cut-outs for the MG needs also re-working.

Thank you to all who provided some info. I'll be in touch with you all when the kit is released, but possibly well before that too!

As to 1/35, the first kit will be a Belgian T13 Type 1 / Type 2. If it proves popular, the plan was to do more Belgian stuff. Maybe a Minerva, one day??!
