Pits containing British and Australian dead from the Battle of Fromelles are being excavated.

You might notice that, unfortunately, the map shows a non-existent place called "Somme" on the French coast*. The BBC's budget for its website is £76,000,000. Last year it overspent by 48% - £110,000,000.


* I've pointed it out, they've changed it, and it's still not right.
