Color of the Austins in the 17th Battalion?

I was wondering if anyone knows what color the Austin Model 1918 Armoured Cars that were used by the 17th Battalion in late 1918 were?
I have seen them modeled in green and in brown with a gray top. I am sure they had the white and red id strips across the hood and the white number plates on the front from actual pictures.

Thanks,
Chris

In a photo caption in 'The British tanks 1915-19' David Fletcher gives the colours as sky blue over brown.

I was thinking since they were built for the Russians, but never delivered, they might be in a Green but since they were issued to the Tank Corp and the tanks were a brown they may have repainted them. I am not sure where the two tone scheme comes from. I know in WWII the 3 color desert camouflage pattern was used but not sure when that was implemented.confused

This is Austin 3rd series, not buil for Russians. For Russians all Austin have not double-wheels.

The Russian government ordered also another 70 improved vehicles of the 3rd series, with a strengthened chassis and double rear wheels (model 1918). However, due to political events of 1917 in Russia, not all were completed, and the completed ones were taken over by the British government. Some were used by the British Army then.  from http://derela.republika.pl/austin.htm

From photos I've got in a couple of books they appear to have been a uniform colour all over (although I can't speak for the top of the turret) with a white square on the radiator cover with a large number on it (presumably a sort of crew number).

The second photo matches with those I have except 'my' vehicle is no 2 2, apparently taken in late Oct/early Nov 1918
