FWD (Four Wheel Drive) Model B 3 ton Lorry, built in the USA but exported in large numbers for use by British and Commonwealth forces.

The Land Warfare Hall at Duxford is extremely dark, so apologies for the bad quality

FWD assembled 1916 in Russia and rebuilt 1919 as fire-engine, trade mark "Bogatyr".

FWD Model B lorry converted from Denis fire engine.

Seeing the Russian Model B converted to a fire engine, reminds me of this article on converting a Denis fire engine into a FWD lorry.

Thanks for that article, Chris. I will use it, one of these days, along with Ken Musgrave's fantastic scale drawings, to convert the 1/72 Keil Kraft Dennis Fire engine.



Those FWD trucks sure were handsome beasts!
