A long-distance friend has sent me some pics of the Skeleton Tank at Aberdeen Museum. I don't know if it's common knowledge, but the Tank turns out to be in some degree made of wood.
The pics are huge, so I shan't post them full size on the Forum, but they are great for studying the details. If anyone wants a copy, pls message me.

Hi James you can find a lot of info here including a news pic of the tank before the wooden coverings for the running gear was added... as far as i can see its metal otherewise.....
Ah. Yes. On reading, or possibly rereading, previous posts, I realise that everybody knew this all along. I can only plead short-term memory loss, something that I believe is likely to become an increasing problem. Apologies.
