Hi Ron

I just thought I would log on and see what was happening while I'm recovering from Christmas day excess smile

I am glad I did, another couple of excellent pics of your model.

I know I caused you extra work with the hatch ... can I do it again.

Please don't kill me but it's a personal hate of mine.........

I think it's the fault of Airfix that I keep seeing an extra centre joining strip down the back of the Tanks ... in reality it is only to be found on the most rear of the top plates.

I've added a couple of images to show what I mean.

Helen xx

Thanks Helen,

No problem at all.... just put a tarp there. I see I have to modify my top ribs a bit, get out the X-Acto and go for it I think. I see the MkI is different than the MkII in this respect.  I took a look at the Mk's I-III page, and I think it was the interior shot of the rear crew compartment of the MkII that threw me off here.  Some bolts or rivets that look like they're part of that center brace.

Could've used all of these a year and a half ago when I was working on the drawings. However, that's the way it goes and it doesn't bother me that much.... just a bit angry with my own observations of photos and such.

Can anyone tell me why instead of pictures I get a small white box with a little red x in the middle.

Have these pictures been removed or is there a setting wrong on my PC.

I live in dial - up heavan (a bit of sarcastic wit) so even getting pictures to download means I have to bring a lunch sometimes. Or is that upload?
And I am not too computor savvy.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Marty

If you are referring to images in this thread - many of them were loaded to Photobucket and referenced from the forum rather than being loaded locally in the forum.
This is ok provided the Photobucket images never get deleted - as they have in this case.

Regards,

Charlie

Thank you for your response.
I suppose it would be fair to say the loss of any picture for any reason is regretable.

"I suppose it would be fair to say the loss of any picture for any reason is regretable."

Absolutly this model is an amazing piece of work , you dont need to upload pics to photobucket etc to show them on the site, they can be uploaded to the site direct..
click the little box when posting "attach Files" this will open a new menu maximum file size is 9,765.6 kb, pics should then not be lost...

Cheerswink
