Hi,
I'm from Germany and stumbled across this interesting site a longer time ago while on search for some inspirations for a retro-scifi armoured car. The dominant scale here seems to be 1/72. At first, I was rather hesitant, as I am interested rather in 15mm and 28mm which narrows my choice of vehicles significantly. And I have to admit that I fell in love with the first tanks (despite of all their shortcomings).
On the other hand, I am more of a modeller than a gamer. wink

My interest in WWI was brought up when I've found an old book of my great-grandfather about the exploits of his regiment in the Great War, printed in 1927. The book isn't free from resentments, but makes nevertheless an interesting reading.

Regards,
Patrick

Aye, welcome Patrick.

No doubt you have found many manufacturers of 15mm and 28mm figures and vehicles. I think we would be interested to see a list of whom you have found; there is a wide variety of tastes and preferred scales on this forum.

Lately I have been wondering if Flames of War can be adjusted for WW1, and I believe they use 15mm figures and vehicles. And Games Workshop fans seem to prefer 28mm instead of 20mm (thinking of their Great War rules).
