This poster http://collections.nasm.si.edu/media/full/A19970322000cp02.jpg shows two intriguing armoures vehicles, just below the central vignette. Are these just the illustrator fancy? A tanks with tracks and a set of spare wheels is something you don't see everyday!
In between the World Wars the British experimented a lot with tanks or mechanised force. Many of their designs were 'wheel and track'. Look at 'Vickers Wolseley' and you see what looks like the vehicle on the left of the poster. The tank on the right could be a Morris Martel, Crossley Martel, Carden Loyd or Vickers, as they all made wheel and track designs. I can't find a suitable look-a-like for the one in the poster, but Vickers sold tanks to China.
Perhaps the person most famous for wheel and track designs is Christie. A prolific designer of tanks and AFVs, from the USA. But other nations experimented with wheel and track, either with their unique designs or copying British or American designs.

The armored car on the left was made by Vickers in 1921. This is just a poster for Chinese soldiers published in Shanghai(by Kaiming Press), most probably in early 1930s(note the uniform and the KMT flag). The pictures were used to show the soldiers what armored vehicles look like. Chinese army didn't buy them. BTW, where did you get this?

I wonder if there were any amoured cars used in the chinese Warlord/civil war Era of the 20s at all. The only AFVs I have seen on Photos from that time are Renault tanks (except the british and french ACs of the international settlements). Only when the japanese appeared, armoured cars showed up.
Has anyone informations, or even pictures, of armoured cars used in the early chinese civil war?
