Nice example of the 15cm (149.3mm) sFH-13; the shield seems to be missing it's hinged top half. Did they manage to restore the wood wheels, as they seem to have rotted over the years of neglect?

In Australia, the old craft of building wooden wheels (wheelright) is still alive.

One of the restorers of the FK 96 at Corinda said they got the drawings of the wheels from the AWM (Australian War Memorial). The downside is that it's quite expensive for a pair of wheels - I saw a quote of $A4000 for the wheels for a 15cm gun at Moonta in South Australia. Apparently it helps if the metal parts of the wheels are still present since these can be expensive to replicate.

Hopefully the Australian wooden wheels will last longer than the originals did.
