Working on a model of C21 'The Perfect Lady' at Arras. Can anyone tell me its serial number? Also would love to do a painting or model of C22 At the chemical works , but can find no information on this tank
C21 was 578. C22 was 776, a MkII male. Jonathan Nicholl's "A Cheerful Sacrifice" contains a two-page narrative of the tank's action at the Chemical Works - PM me if interested.
Thanks for the help. I have " A Cheerful Sacrifice" its a very good book. Has given me lots of ideas for paintings and models .I cant see the serial number in the photo but I know sometimes they dont show up very well in those old pictures. Think Ill put it in though. About C22 ,wonder if it had a name? Oh! And MkI sponsons on MKII tanks , were some of the male ones camouflaged as well?

There is a photo of "The Perfect Lady" in "Tanks and Trenches" that just barely shows the 5 & 7 near the drive sprocket.
