 Hello everybody, Im close to finishing my new painting and wondered if anyone can help me with the markings on D company tanks . Did they carry a number on the box on the back like C company?  Thanks.

Oh Well ! I decided she needs a number . Its D23 11 company D battalion.

Sorry for the delayed reply, Michael. The photo shows the wreck of 576 (D11) of 10 Coy., D Bn. knocked out east of Wancourt on 23/4/17. I think the company number can be made out on the storage box, suggesting that both C and D battalions followed this marking scheme.

Thanks for that . I think you are right. I wanted the tank to be Lt Clarksons (female).
Found out it was D28 (586) . The painting is now finished and at the printers.smile
