Well, you can find lots and lots of White Metal Wargaming Arty pieces, most of them the French 75, The German 7.7cm or the Bristish 18-pounder. But most of them are poor, some extremely so. In general Artillery kits are much poorer than Tank or Vehicle kits. They often lack important parts, like traversing and elevating wheels, and - my pet peeve - the dial sight. Be prepared to do a lot of extra detailing.
But there are some kits that stick out among the crowd.
1. Mr Panzers 149mm Italian Gun - a super kit. 2. The Cromwell 155mm Schneider - needs extra details fo sure, but good basic shape 3. The EMHAR 1/72 7.7cm FK 96 n/A - needs extra details also, but a good kit 4. The SHQ "75" - The best "75" in this scale, after Al.By's 5. Al.By's 155mm GPF - Super, super kit! But good luck in finding one...
I enjoy building Guns, as they are so different to Tanks and other Vehicles: they require a totally different approach.
the 1/35 emahr gusn are excelelnt to strat the yare cheap easy t obuild and are easy to superdetail but the jewel of 1/35 wwi gus is the des 1/35 75mm it is a terrific kit, you can also get stowage with it.
Dear friends you can find a lot of WW1 artillery guns in MOUNTFORD METALL MINIATURES range but it's 1/32 scale (54mm).The quality and accuracy is very nice and you can find some extra ordinary pieces such as Schneider-Ducrest 65 mm mountain gun, 3,7 inch British mountain gun,the GREEK 75 mm(Schneider-Canet model 1908) and its limber also and the British BL 6inch 30cwt Armstrong Howitzer. Also you can find many other pieces.
By the way I'm searching informations concerning the Ottoman Artillery(type of guns) and especially about a KRUPP 75 mm field gun that they have used.(Which model probably was?)
