German Pickelhaube cockades.

Here is a very long link to a page about the cockades as worn per state on the Pickelhaube. Not seen in combat, but, hey; parade uniforms are nicer than combat ones.smile

Just to note, I'm convinced that some of these were mounted on the chinstrap sides, rather than the front.
