Tank Mark V Walkaround
Permalink

There is a great, new, walkaround article of some of the surviving Tanks Mark V, here:

http://www.landships.info/landships/tank_articles.html?load=tank_articles/Surviving_Mark_V.html

And if you have any photos of the other surviving Mark V tanks at Kubinka and Kharkiv, that we can use on Landships, please send them along to me. Thanks.

Hi PDA. Thanks. I looked and the pictures are very good. If I do a Mk V I will  certainly use this walkaround.

Thanks, Paul.

Using your link I got to the Russian Wikipedia, and then using Babelfish, it seems that this photo of the tank in Kubinka has been released into the Public Domain by the author, Galina Vladimir [Petrovich]:

And we are free to use this photo of the Mark V in Kharkiv, as long as we cite the author, Victor Vizu:

This one of the Kharkiv Mark V is released into Public Domain by SVL:

and probably most of the other photos on this page:

although, I am rather tired at the moment and haven't translated everything just yet.

So, "Great find", Paul. And thank you, again.

Thanks for these links, and also to who linked

a while ago. Now there is no more excuse for manufacturers not to do one in 1/72, and a correct one at that. Regards, Pat
