size of rivets on WW1 male/female tanks
Permalink

Hi All

I'm planning on building a scale model of a ww1 tank using a 3mm solid rivet to scale against an original size one, from the research I've done so far I will be looking at a model approx 2 metres in length!!

Thank you in anticipation

Dave

No I hadn't check this one, and its a big help, next step will be a trip to the tank museum to get the measurements and idea of the main body between the horns and feel for the build quality.  From the rivet size I will be looking at 1/5th scale model - static to start with, then look at putting a motor in.

Cheers Dave
