� This is my first post here and I have to say that�I really enjoy this sight.� The information and links available are great and since I found the sight I have purchased quiet a few of the recommended books on WW1 Tanks.
I am looking for information on metal tank models.� Since I currently do not have a lot of extra time they can be pre assembled.� I am looking for something in the range of 1/35 scale and up�and are MK1-V models.� Below is a picture of a�model that I took at a museum in Varennes, France.��It is�a�good example of what I am looking for.�Any help would be appreciated.
Besides the usual Dinky and Corgi models the only metal Tanks I've seen recently are a couple of pewter models at the Bovington Tank Museum shop I reckon they were 1/35th, one was a Foster Whippet and the other one maybe a Chieftain/Challanger.

there aren't that many metal 1/35 models in metal I'm afraid. You are looking for ww1 items I presume? Under google 'metal tank models' there are a few but in different scale and ww2 or post ww2. Corgi and Dinky, Chris already mentioned these. French Solido/Verem has a few but again ww2 and later, and though they are nice they are actually 1/43 quality toys. And of course there are a few vintage items, Britains or Crescent but these are rather costly antiques. Not to mention the German metal or tinplate models, I think Lineol or Hauser made them.
I am looking for World War 1 models.� I wish Corgi or anyone else for that matter would start taking an intrest in producing World War�1�variants.� I guess I will just have to send�out a few emails and let them know that there is an intrest in such a product.���
Thanks for the info Hughbearson.� I sent the museum an email since they do not list very much on their web site.
there are two 1:32 scale models but they are made of a kind of plaster. The Old Northwest Trading Co. will release them or already does. I am not sure. One A7V and a MkIV.
Tanker, thanks for the link.� The FT 17 and Schneider in 1/10 are incredible!!� I would love to have those models!� The time and skill that went into them is unbelievable!� Here are a few of the pics.

no one mentioned the Scale Link Mark IV scale 1/32. I got one and a extra conversion set� to convert the male to a female including track crabs. It's a scale model made of white metal.
