I was thinking of marking up my Dennis with New Zealand markings so that it would look a little like this:
What colour is the fern leaf and what colour should the roundel be behind it?
What does the "1" relate to. The first NZ Brigade? And what would the "9" relate to?

I think "1 NZ" would mean 1st New Zealand Division.

Hi from what I can see black background with white or possible silver leaf but white seems more likely...
1NZ possibly 1st brigade I dont think there was a 2nd Division in WW1 was there?, 9 possibly the regimental number
