I found two interesting old books translated from Russian in our local library yesterday: "Tanks"(Chinese version published in 1956) and "Tanks: A Brief History of the Developement of Armored Tanks"(Chinese version published in 1958). Both of them have a whole chapter dedicated to the various WW1 Russian tank designs, including the "Zhitonoski Tankette"(interestingly, the book says its nickname was "Beetle"). They also have much on tanks, armored trains and armored cars. I was very excited to see that there is much info which can't be found in English sources as I can't read Russian.
It's really hard to believe that I can really benefit from our country's friendship with USSR nearly 60 years later!
