I have two; one from before they re-tooled, and one from after. They are brilliant; I love them. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The review that Peter Kempf did is from before they re-tooled, so none of his criticisms are true any more; it seems they reacted positively to his constructive criticism.

The wheels that it comes with are 12mm in diameter, including the tyres, or just under 10mm without the tyres. I have replaced the wheels on mine with shirt buttons, drilled out to accept a PE fret of spokes from Scalelink. I got the idea for the size of the wheel and tyre combined from looking at photos and judging them to be up to about the waist of an average man.

I want to see them too!

Also, I would preciate other methods of making spoked wheels. They are definetily the biggest problem in scratch-building. Any good ideas?

Wheels

With the Lanchester kit I have realised I have had too many wheels cast up.So I am planning to sell a set of wheels (8) with the etch for the spokes. The tyres are in whitemetal, normal (grooved) and anti skid (smooth) there will be 3 antiskid and 5 normal.

When I get a chance I will take a pic and put it on this thread.

In a recent house move, the model met with a serious accident. That's OK, it means I get to build the thing twice, which is certainly good value for money.

I will take some pictures, but don't expect anything near as good as those from Plastikk and Plastic Fan!
