Hello,

On a German site found the picture below, anyone know something more about? This vehicle had a motor, or was it used as cart behind a Loc? Was it Military or Civilian?

Description says the photo is taken during WW1 in "Klappholtal - Sylt (Northern Germany)

Apart from the windscreen, it looks like a very early railway carriage (ie 1850s)

Superb pic. I would hazard a guess that it's some type of inspection coach. I think it's standard gauge but can't see how it was motorised. Have you any more ????

Nope, no further information but I think it has to be pushed or drawn by another vehicle, isn't that something like a hook at the front of the vehicle? Also I don't think it is military or at least not made in "series", maybe just made for the luxury of the local Officers and NCO's?
