Hello Everyone

I have just come in to possession of two rare pictures, I was told they may be the elusive Krupp Armoured Limber?? of 1918. I am not sure, some of the uniforms look German, but others seem different. Any idea??????????

To me it looks like the Lanz Gleiskettenschlepper, some 30 of which were delivered before the end of the war.

Or?

Hello to all.

Sorry, do to me being in a hurry this morning I inadvertently posted the wrong picture, the photo I posted is the {LK II power limber} not the Krupp power limber. I am sorry for the oversight; I will post the Krupp photo tomorrow.

All the Best

Hello Jack.

Here is a list of German Artillery Tractors: {Zugs}Magirus,Durrkopp,Bussing,Daimler,Lanz,Benz,Podeus,Krupp,Holt. Some of these companys put out large numbers of Artillery tractors, The rest just a few. Bussing,Daimler and Krupp put out the largest amount. Also in the works were Tracked tractors{Raupenschlepper}, used as artillery prime movers, The companys were Lanz,Benz,Brauer,Krupp, and Bussing.I have little information on any of the tracked vehicles, Like the {Krupp Armoured Limber} It is talked about in The German A7V By Hundleby & Strasheim. I just have pictures and drawings of said vehicles.May be Peter has more Information.

By all means if you have any information on any of these vehicles, please post it.

All the Best
