Fordson tractor in WW1?

I understand the Fordson F tractor entered production in 1917 and was mass-produced by 1918. Wikipedia says that "By mid-1918, more than 6,000 Fordson tractors were in use in Britain, Canada, and the United States." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fordson_tractor

Were any of these used to tow artillery pieces or other military equipment in WW1?

Many thanks for the link Runflat. Lovely colorized image. The text deals in great detail with production numbers but I was unable to grasp whether they used the tractors as a standard artillery towing vehicle or not. Maybe more info will be added.
