That is an unusual use of the word, I doubt if anyone would use it now in that context.  biggrin

Definition of EJACULATION

1
: an act of ejaculating; specifically : a sudden discharging of a fluid from a duct
2
: something ejaculated; especially : a short sudden emotional utterance

I believe that both phenomena can occur in certain circumstances.

IIRC.

Come now (note how I spelled that) lads, used correctly there should be no innuedo except for the Beavis and Butthead brigade

It doesn't say "an ejaculation".  It says, "Then he made this ejaculation:"

this - an object is given (subtle) and it is immediately given as an utterance (obvious).

Here's the form as shown at http://dictionary.reference.com (modified for reduced character set in these forums)

ejaculation

noun
1. an abrupt, exclamatory utterance.
2. the act or process of ejaculating, especially the discharge of semen by the male reproductive organs.

Origin: 1595 - 1605; ejaculate + -ion

ejaculate
verb, -lat·ed, -lat·ing, noun
verb (used with object)
1. to utter suddenly and briefly; exclaim.
2. to eject (semen).
3. to eject suddenly and swiftly; discharge.
verb (used without object)
4. to eject semen.
noun
5. the semen emitted in an ejaculation.
Origin: 1570 - 80; < Latin ejaculatus(past participle of ejacular) shot out, equivalent to e-+ jacul(um) javelin (jac(ere) to throw + -ulum-ule) + -atus-ate1
Related forms
un·e·jac·u·lat·ed, adjective

From the sense of hurling a javelin eh? There's a certain amount of male conceit (and some would say even a tenebrous touch of violence) attached to using it in a sexual context.

Yes, it might be deemed a little risky these days since we are taught we must now write for illiterates , even so it might be tried in a translation (as that one was) just to give a little of the flavour of the original tongue.  I mean tongue used for talking, not for ... other ... things.
