Anyone know of a reference for when and how the M1917 was phased out? I know about the ones sold to Canada, but that leaves hundreds unaccounted for. Treat 'Em Rough isn't very specific.
The U.S. Tank Corps was slashed immediately after the War, and cut to the bone in 1920 - 154 officers and 2,500 other ranks. The trusty Internet says the M1917 was "phased out in 1931," but some were used against the Bonus Army in 1932, and Jones, Rarey, & Icks list 940 (+ seven M1917 A1) on the strength in 1933. Tanks of all types totalled 1,063 too many to be crewed by 2,500 men, I would have thought.

I've had a look through Crismon, and I think it might be a type of Holt Gun Carriage, just post-War. Maybe 75mm version, minus superstructure.
