I do not see these tanks on the list. Correct me if I am mistaken.

"WWI Tank" in Cantigny Park, Wheaton, IL. An FT-17.

Oh, and there is dissagreement on whether the WWI Tank at the West Point Museum is an FT-17, or an M1917. These detailed pictures should clear it up:

P.S. Perhaps Peter Jacksons replica tank should be on there too...? It at the very least looks superficially authentic.

The A7V in the Panzer Museum in Munster is not a survivor, it is a reproduction. For that matter I've read that it is not an exact reproduction of a specific A7V (in terms of the rivet patterns, MG ports, etc), it is a sort of generalised one.

Still, it's really cool that they built it, and for alot of us travel to Germany is a much more convenient option than travel to Australia. I hope to go see it one day.

It is about time that 'Survivors' was updated (shuffles feet guiltily), I was in the middle of it and suffered a hard drive disaster. So early 2006 I promise


Vilkata - Thanks for the suggestions and links - the Cantigny tank is an M1917, and so is the West Point one (so I'll correct that). AMSCO is the mark of the American Steel Company, makers of the tracks. The FT-17 in Norway is my S48, the Setermoen tank, I remember the picture from my Google marathon while researching the list.


And Munster's A7V-a-like is a bit of a hybrid


Guess I'll have to keep my eye on this thread. Thanks again to everyone who has helped me in my quest.
