Probably not unusual although I haven't seen a number stamped in front of the breech before. The FK 96 n.A in Collingwood is one which was updated from an a.A - in this case in 1908. The dates of first build and rework are on the lower part of the breech ring - can't quite make them out in the Flikr images.
My guess is that the gun was rebarrelled with a barrel recycled from another gun - 4365. The barrel on the FK 96 could be unscrewed from breech block although this usually happened at Krupps since it needed some serious equipment.

This gun is in Collingwood, ON. The number on the breech is 3263, the date on the trail is 1908, and as you can see there is another number on the barrell, 4365.
I am wondering if the markings on the barrell make this gun unusual?
How about that name on the barrell? Could it be "NMARATIOREC"? Or something similar? Is it actually a name? I was expecting "Fried Krupp".
It is unfortunate that the gun has been overpainted a few times, and now the paint is blistering, making it difficult to read the numbers on the bottom of the breech.
The museum (that the gun is outside) knows nothing, unfortunately.
