Can anyone ID this?

A Chinese police armored car in Tianjin(Tientsin), shown by an old Chinese magazine "Sheng Huo Xing Qi Kan"(Life Weekly).

I don't know why but I think this armored car looks like a WWI European armored car and doesn't have the common shape of Chinese armored cars in 1920s and 1930s.

Any ideas?

Chassis looks like a Lancia 1Z. The turret looks like it once graced a fortification!
