I would like to introduce myself as someone whose interest in artillery started in Melbourne (Australia) a few years ago, along the lines of how various guns were developed. From non-recoil ring cannons to recuperatored howitzers of the first war. In time I may be able to help serious modelers with aspects of German field gun construction, all the while enjoying the many varied and interesting comments within the forum.
