The tank shown in the photo above is said, in our Landships II article, to be the M1917 on display at the Patton Museum in Fort Knox, USA.
First, as you can see, it is not an M1917, or at least, not entirely. The armour beside the driver's flap is not triangular, and the rivets on the front plate are "Renault pattern" not "M1917 pattern". The turret, however, does seem to be from an M1917. So this tank appears to be a Renault FT body with an M1917 turret. I suspect the engine has been changed as well because in one photograph it appears as though the original exhaust outlet (on the right on Renault FTs) has been patched over.
Second, it is not in the Patton Museum in Fort Knox, USA. It has been restored (by B. R. Howard and Associates Inc.) and is now in the Army Heritage and Educational Center (sic) at Carlisle, Pennsylvania, USA. These three pages have some great photos.
